HYUNDAI is campaigning for electronic stability control to be fitted on all new cars sold in Australia and, to kick-start the campaign, is fitting the potentially life-saving technology on three of its models as standard for a limited time – including the Getz 1.6 SX at $14,990 driveaway.Until June 30, ESC is also being fitted free on the $19,990 Elantra 2.0 SX and the $24,990 Tucson City 2.0 SX, while the company’s cheapest car, the Getz 1.4 S at $13,990 driveaway, gets free ABS.“Our vision is to see ESP mandated across all new vehicles in Australia,” said Hyundai Australia sales and marketing director Kevin McCann.
